Professional Experience 

2001-  

Sam Hughes Photography, Inc., Norfolk, Virginia: 

Founder and owner of company. Specializing in commercial and event photography, including weddings and portraiture.  

1998-2001  

Infinite Photo and Imaging, Springfield, Virginia: Supervisor for digital imaging output service, covering the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Clients included Nomadic Display, Smithsonian, and National Geographic. Handled all operations of Durst 50-inch, multi turret Lambda laser printer and Kodak inkjet printing. Also worked closely with Kodak on testing their beta products including their Endura and black and white papers. 

1992-1997  

McComb Enterprise Journal, McComb, Mississippi:  

Chief Photographer for the daily newspaper. Responsible for covering assignments, photo editing, caption writing, and daily maintenance of darkroom equipment.
